TIPS TO STOP THE SPREAD - 1 YEAR OF COVID

It’s been 1 year since COVID-19 changed the way we live our day to day lives. By now, we’re all pretty used to the “new normal”, but we still have to be diligent to do our part to stop the spread. Wearing a mask, sanitizing regularly, and cleaning your screens are just a few of the ways to keep yourself and everyone else safe.

PROTECT EACH OTHER IN PUBLIC

Before COVID-19, we checked our pockets for our keys, phone and wallet before leaving the house. Now we check for keys, phone, wallet and mask. Wearing a mask in public spaces has become the norm and we wear ours proudly to protect each other from spreading the virus. The most effective masks are the paper medical masks and 2- or 3-layer cotton masks. Make sure they cover your nose and mouth, otherwise they can’t do their job!

SANITIZE AND DISINFECT ON THE GO

Carrying hand sanitizer with you wasn’t uncommon BC (Before COVID), but now it’s pretty much expected. Keep a bottle close by in your purse or your car for easy access and use it before entering and after leaving public places.

On top of personal sanitizers, businesses have been disinfecting their surfaces more than ever. Anywhere someone has touched gets disinfected almost immediately - shopping carts, debit machines, and door handles to name a few. Don’t be afraid to double up on disinfectant efforts! Carry to-go disinfectant wipes and wipe down surfaces before touching them.

WASH YOUR HANDS

When you get home from your essential trip, the first thing you should do is wash your hands! Take 20 seconds at the sink and make sure the soap gets in between each of your fingers. It’s also a good idea to wash your hand towel more often than you used to, you can never be too safe!

TECH HYGIENE

We know you’re spending more time on your phone than before. Whether it’s scrolling through Instagram while waiting to get in the grocery store or watching TikToks at home on the couch, our phones are helping us through the pandemic. Are you cleaning yours to keep up? An average phone is 10 times dirtier than a toilet seat, so make sure to kill those germs with proper tech hygiene!

Here’s our fool-proof method to getting a clean screen:

1. Unplug or power down your device. (If it's a phone, just turn off the screen)

2. Wipe away dust and dirt on the screen with a dry microfiber cloth

3. Spray the cloth with Screen Shine cleaner and wipe with the included microfiber cloth to remove skin oil, bacteria, and fingerprints.

4. Reverse the cloth or use a dry portion to polish for the perfect shine!

5. Clean your devices daily for the ultimate clean!
